Efecto protector
de los antioxidantes del vino contra el daño renal mediado
por estrés oxidativo.
Se estudia el efecto del
vino sobre la vulnerabilidad del riñón y otros órganos
de rata frente a la injuria provocada por el estrés
oxidativo.
¨
Contribución del
estrés oxidativo en el mecanismo patogénico de la esteato
hepatitis no alcohólica asociada a obesidad.
Se
estudia el papel de las enzimas antioxidantes, GSH y
actividad de CYP 2E1 en el mecanismo de producción de
esta enfermedad.
¨
Preeclampsia.
Biomarcadores precoces de estrés oxidativo y su aplicación
en el tratamiento profiláctico de embarazadas chilenas.
Se analizan las alteraciones precoces de los parámetros
de estrés oxidativo de los grupos de riesgo para ser
tratados con vitamina E + C y así poder prevenir el
desarrollo de la enfermedad
¨
Prevención de
la fibrilación auricular post-operatoria en pacientes
sometidos a cirugía cardíaca con circulación extracorpórea.
Se caracteriza
un modelo farmacológico de pre-acondicionameinto no
hipóxico para proteger al miocardio contra el daño provocado
principalmente por el estrés oxidativo en este modelo
clínico de isquemia/reperfusión para prevenir el desarrollo
de fibrilación auricular, alteración de elevada incidencia
en estos pacientes aún aplicando todo el arsenal farmacológico
actualmente disponible.
